It’s simply good business sense to provide fringe benefits to retain and attract key executives.

Our Insured Medical Reimbursement Plan (Executive Medical Reimbursement) covers expenses that ordinary group health insurance plans don’t- from contacts and lasik procedures to speech therapy and health clinics. This plan can work with existing group and individual health insurance plans regardless of which carrier is being utilized. Employers can offer this additional coverage to as few as one or as many employees as they choose, subject to class qualifications.

For flexibility, we offer eleven different classes, starting at $5,000 and as high as $200,000. Employers with an existing insurance plan that meets eligibility requirements can add a BeniComp Select plan or a BeniComp/Executive Edge plan. These plans will reduce out-of-pocket expenses for selected employees. If an expense is medically necessary and qualifies under Section 213 of the Internal Revenue Code, it generally is eligible for reimbursement under the plan.

Medical Reimbursement enables payment to select employees and their dependents for health-care expenses that their basic underlying insurance policy does not cover. These expenses can include: Orthodontia, smoking cessation clinics, weight loss programs, psychiatric care, speech therapy, medical transportation (including air service), vision care, deductibles, over-the-counter drugs and many more services.

A properly structured executive medical reimbursement plan can qualify as a tax deduction for the employer and as a non-taxable benefit to the employee.
